(President and CEO: Jun Kashiwaoka, hereinafter “LeadInx”), will begin selling travel insurance that can be purchased through the JAL Mileage Bank app (hereinafter referred to as the “JMB app”) from 13:00 on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. By introducing the insurance sales system “Fusion” provided by LeadInx, a subsidiary of SoftBank Corp., into the JMB app, we are pleased to announce that we will be able to provide a variety of services using the JMB app without having to link the system with each insurance company individually. We are now able to offer insurance products. Zurich will serve as the underwriting insurance company for the initial lineup, offering three products (*3): “Domestic Travel Insurance” (*1), “Overseas Travel Insurance” (*2), and “Ski/Snowboarding Insurance.” We will continue to aim to expand our insurance products to meet the various needs of our customers. JAL will continue to provide a variety of services so that the JMB app will enrich customers’ lives and become an indispensable part of their daily lives.
