App overview Our app is the only direct-from-the-farm e-commerce solution on Shopify. We provide a system that allows sellers to manage everything from product registration to order processing and delivery operations using individual accounts. Compared to other companies’ systems, it is reasonably priced, highly customizable, and can flexibly respond to a variety of business needs. New feature overview We have newly implemented Yamato Transport’s web shipping service linkage as an option, making delivery operations even more efficient. This new feature automatically issues invoices compatible with Yamato Transport by simply clicking a button on the management screen. There is no need to hand-write an invoice, and shipping can be done by just packaging, which reduces labor costs. Additionally, this feature allows publishers to consolidate shipping costs that were previously charged to individual sellers, potentially resulting in lower shipping costs. Development background This new feature was developed in response to strong requests from our clients. The client adopted farm-direct e-commerce as a new business, and in order to have many companies open stores, they focused on “how to realize low-cost and simple delivery operations.” . Therefore, in order to realize cooperation with Yamato Transport, we carefully examined the necessary items from a large amount of technical documents and linked the systems via API. As a result, we were able to significantly reduce the manual work performed by sellers and provide an environment where delivery operations can be performed more easily.
