The Metagri Institute (operated by Nojojin Co., Ltd., Headquarters: Funabashi City, Chiba Prefecture, Representative Director: Yuichiro Kai), a community that promotes agriculture x web3, has released the e-book “Metagri”, which is a manga version of the institute’s two years of activities. We will start a quiz campaign based on “Story” from today. In this campaign, we will challenge a quiz of 10 questions in total, and everyone who answers 8 or more questions correctly will receive community points “MetaGreen Seeds”. Campaign period: October 4, 2024 (Friday) to October 31, 2024 (Thursday) What is “Metagri Story”? “Metagri Story” is an e-book that introduces Metagri Research Institute’s two-year efforts to combine agriculture and web3 (blockchain technology such as NFT, DAO, DeFi) in a four-panel comic. It includes the following contents: • Birth of “Metagri” :This word, which was born on December 4, 2021 by combining “Meta” and “Agri”, represents a new vision that transcends the common sense of
agriculture. • Building a community : The community, launched on March 11, 2022 using Discord, is working with over 1,000 members to build a sustainable agricultural model. • NFT project development : We are implementing a series of projects that aim to create new value by combining various agricultural products such as watermelons, tomatoes, and Shine Muscats with NFTs. • Promoting the “FarmFi” concept : We aim to realize a sustainable society by proposing a new economic model that combines agriculture and decentralized finance (DeFi).
