Press release: November 5, 2024 Children take on the challenge of selling pork buns as “Daimaru Kobe store children’s clerks”! “Motomachi Children’s Marche” Sales location: Daimaru Kobe store 1st floor north side corridor Sale date and time: November 10th (Sun) 12:00-15:10 *Ends as soon as supplies last Motomachi Children’s University is a joint effort between Kobe Gakuin University and Daimaru Kobe store, with the desire to “enhance the creativity of children who will create the future.” This year marks the 4th time that “Motomachi Children’s Marche x Kobe Nankinmachi ” will open a one-day limited SHOP at the Daimaru Kobe store. In October, we held two workshops, in which the participating children learned about the history of Nankinmachi in Kobe and the product of “Original Buta Manju” through the story behind “Buta Manju.” , I learned about customer service at the Daimaru Kobe store and thought about how to make customers feel the appeal of our products using marketing techniques. On November 10th (Sunday), we will utilize what we learned at the workshop to sell an original pork bun set that includes the Kobe Nagata Beef Tendon Bokkake Pork Bun, which was chosen by the children through a vote, as well as sell old-fashioned pork buns that can only be eaten here. We will also take on the challenge of making Shoki’s “Mini Grilled Pork Manju” in the LIVE kitchen. We also have an eat-in space, so please come and visit us.
