Overview of Everystar Novel Award 2024 “Mecha Comic Women’s Manga Original Award” The “Mecha Comic Women’s Manga Original Award” is a novel contest held in collaboration between Everystar Co., Ltd. and Japan’s largest electronic comic site “Mecha Comic.” This contest will be held for the fifth time in 2024, and as in last year, we will continue to solicit original manga for women. At Mecha Comic, many works based on Everysta’s original works have been adapted into comics, with hits such as “The Healing Neighbor Has a Secret,” “Oboro no Hanayome,” and “Taisho Substitute Marriage ~Konpeito is Sweetly Unraveled~.” It has also produced many titles. In this contest, we are looking for works that women in their 20s to 40s will want to read, stories based on love and relationships between men and women, and that have realistic changes in the characters’ feelings. Continuing from last year, the “Mecha Comic Women’s Manga Original Award” has three “recommended stories” this year as well. Works that fall under the following three stories will be actively considered during selection by tagging them when posting to Everystar. • Political marriage of unfortunate heroine I’m looking for a romance work in which the main character, who was in an unfortunate situation, becomes happy through a political marriage. I would like you to draw two characters: a strong-willed protagonist who makes you want to be happy while reading the book, and an attractive hero who makes you want to entrust such a protagonist. Recommended tag: #Unfortunate heroine • Ikiri Saint and the beloved villainess We are looking for a romance work that revolves around a story in which a villainess acts in a way that is different from her normal behavior and ends up being doted on by the hero, but in which a saint with a bad personality repeatedly harasses the protagonist.
