Wao Mirai Gakuen Wao High School (headquarters: Okayama City, Okayama Prefecture, Principal Tsuyoshi Hirata) (hereinafter referred to as Wao High School) will open in April 2021, fostering the ability to survive in turbulent times through practical studies and education. This is a correspondence high school where you can connect with friends from all over the country, have dialogues, learn philosophy, and develop your interests. Wao High School will hold a school festival on Saturday, November 16th in an online hybrid format with Okayama main school. It was planned at the initiative of the “Student Council” that was established this year, and students who were recruited from within the school to serve as members of the school festival executive committee held daily online meetings to make it a reality. The theme for the school festival was inspired by a student who said, “There is no youth at a correspondence high school.” We are working on various projects that take advantage of the “likes” of each student, with the feeling of saying with confidence that “you can experience youth only at a correspondence high school!” The event will be held to coincide with the time when students from all over the country gather in Okayama for schooling, so many students who are not on the regular school course will also participate and have a great time. It will also be held simultaneously at the Wao High School Virtual Campus, and many students who cannot come to our school will participate at this venue.
