Information on the forum and media briefing session for the national project “SIP/BRIDGE” aimed at realizing Japan’s future society At this forum, we will hold a media briefing to introduce in detail to the media the latest initiatives of SIP and BRIDGE and their significance to society. Not only will we have individual themed booths where you can interview program directors (PDs) about various SIP/BRIDGE initiatives, but we will also have a media photo booth where PDs, who will be taking photos, will introduce mock experiments and report results. The third term of the Strategic Innovation Creation Program (SIP), which began in fiscal 2014, began last fiscal year. This fiscal year, we will promote the “Strategic Innovation Creation Program (SIP)” and the “Bridging Research and Development and Society 5.0 Program (BRIDGE)” project, which is sponsored by the Cabinet Office and aims to promote innovative technology development and social implementation. We will hold a forum for you. Media briefing overview The media briefing session consists of the following two booths, and is a place where media members can freely exchange opinions and conduct interviews. 1. Individual theme booths: Each SIP/BRIDGE initiative is grouped by trending theme, allowing the media to simultaneously interview multiple program directors (PDs) for themes of interest. 2. Media photo booth: PDs who can cooperate with photo shoots will introduce mock experiments and report results.
