This time, a solo exhibition by ASUKI, an artist whose concept is “LIKE DRAWING BREATH/Draw lines as if you were breathing,” will be held on November 15th (Friday), 16th (Saturday), and 17th (Sunday), 2024. The event will be held for three days at a wooden house in Kiyosumi Shirakawa. ■The theme is “NO TIME, NO SPACE, NO MATTER” Asuki, who expresses the deeper layer (=invisible world) of the universe in front of our eyes using the method of “line,” further expands the consciousness of “plants” that he incorporated into his works in the previous exhibition, and “ We will challenge the expression of breathing and consciousness emitted by “inorganic objects”.

In addition to visual design work, he has directed many exhibitions and projects for young artists, and provided art coordination in Tokyo and New York, and has provided production consultation to over 2,000 young artists in Japan. On the other hand, during my four years as a student, I learned how to use the body, breathing, and consciousness from a body technique researcher, and through part-time work on a rickshaw, I experienced the ancient Japanese way of using the body. Realize the depth of your abilities. In 2013, I suffered from ES (electromagnetic hypersensitivity), which led me to reinterpret what I had learned about the body and
consciousness in the past, and began developing body and consciousness work programs for myself and others. I ended up finding a simple method using drawing work. From 2020 to 2021, we will run a drawing class “Wedraw” for business owners with the theme of “discovering a new self,” and from 2021 to 2023, we will teach the mind and soul through paintings and drawings at a preschool in Tokyo. We will launch a creative class aimed at developing abilities. Since 2020, he has resumed producing his own drawings in earnest as an artist for the first time in 20 years. He names his style “LIKE DRAWING BREATH” and uses lines to express the way the world and himself breathe and emit consciousness, aiming to change the way we think about ourselves and others in order to survive in a new era.
