Through this business alliance, Yachiyo Engineering will utilize CULTA’s knowledge to improve the efficiency and quality of strawberry cultivation, and work to realize sustainable agriculture. Specifically, we will receive advice on strawberry cultivation techniques from CULTA and utilize these techniques to produce high-quality strawberries at Chika-Berry Farm, located in Utsunomiya City. Furthermore, Yachiyo Engineering will introduce a new variety of strawberries developed by CULTA, aiming to improve quality and productivity. First project: Summer strawberry cultivation in the Otani district of Utsunomiya City This project will be carried out at Chika-Berry Farm, a farm in Utsunomiya City that is operated as a joint venture with Farmers Forest Co., Ltd. In this project, we aim to plant winter and spring strawberry seedlings in September 2024 and harvest from November 2025. Additionally, from March 2025, we will begin cultivating summer strawberries with the aim of achieving a yield of 2 tons.
