Sakurajuji Group Press release: November 11, 2024 To express our gratitude to the local community, the 19th Sakurajuji Hospital Thanks Illumination Lighting Ceremony will be held on November 20th (Wednesday)! Kumamoto Volters players and VG attended the lighting ceremony! In order to express our gratitude to those who support us, we will also hold photo sessions and in-hospital cafe events.

This year, we will have Kumamoto Volters players (Ren Nagashima and Shota Yamamoto) and VG (cheerleaders) as special guests. At the lighting ceremony, Sakura-chan and Jujiro-kun, mascot characters of the Sakura Juji Group, will perform a Christmas dance together with VG. Afterwards, the entire Thanks Illumination will be lit by the players, and the warm light brought by each light bulb will color the winter night. Up to this point, the content has been for inpatients, but after the lighting ceremony, the general public can also participate, and there will be a photo session and VG where you can take pictures with the players at “VOLCAFE”. We will hold a special event where you will serve as a store clerk. In addition to seeing the athletes and VGs that can only be seen here, you can’t miss the spectacular moment when the illuminations are turned on. Please come and see us at the venue. The inside of the store is decorated with the logo and is full of charm. Player coasters and original drinks that are distributed for a limited time are very popular.

This project was launched from the desire of the Sakurajuji Group to complete the main logo together with the boosters who continue to support the Kumamoto Volters, and to express our gratitude for their support. The main tree, which was created not only by Sakurajiri staff but also by local boosters, will shine brighter than any other. After cooperating with the illumination production, we will have lunch at the employee cafeteria of Sakurajuji Hospital, and those who wish will be able to cheer on the Yamagata Wyverns game at a public viewing held at Medimesse Sakurajuji.
