The Gunma Prefecture Tourism and Products International Association (Public Interest Incorporated Foundation) (Location: Maebashi City, Gunma Prefecture, Chairman: Masato Iwasaki) will open the “Gunma Tourism Leader School” (8th term) in 2020 and are recruiting participants. . This cram school is aimed at those who are interested in “Tourism region development to solve regional issues” and are willing to take on the challenge themselves. We are planning a workshop format in which we will use actual regions as the stage for fieldwork to support regional development, find clues to solving regional issues, and support the realization of the desired state. 1. Purpose of the course To create a foundation for “community
development using tourism as a means” to create a region where not only tourists/visitors but also residents can live with peace of mind and feel pride and attachment to the region. The aim is to discover and develop “core human resources” who can be active in the local community and lead the development of local tourism areas from a broad perspective. 2.
