instruction at all municipal elementary and junior high school compulsory education schools in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture. We would like to inform you that it has been officially adopted as part of the 2024 fiscal year, and its use will begin in 2024. Kure City has set the goals of its educational guidelines as “a city where young people can have and raise children with peace of mind and nurture the human resources who will create the future,” and “a city where people can enjoy culture, art and sports, and learn throughout their lives.” We aim to develop human resources who can create. As part of the “promotion of education using ICT”, which is one of the priority measures, Cubina has been used on a trial basis at elementary and junior high schools in the city since 2022, but now all elementary and junior high schools in the city have been using it on a trial basis. The system has been officially adopted by approximately 13,000 students at 59 compulsory education schools, and will be used as part of their instruction. When introducing the system to all municipal elementary and junior high school compulsory education schools, the system was highly praised for asking questions that were individually optimized using Cubina’s AI, leading to its adoption by all schools. We are also looking forward to collaborating with digital textbook companies in the future. COMPASS currently provides Kyubina to over 1 million children in approximately 2,300 elementary and junior high schools across the country, and will continue to deliver “individually optimized learning” to all children without leaving them behind through the provision of Kyubina. In September 2022, we collaborated with MEXCBT and began providing a learning e-portal service as the learning e-portal AI-based teaching material “Cubina.” Furthermore, from November 2023 onwards, we will continue to release “Cubina Textbook x AI Content,” which is equipped with questions based on major textbooks approved by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, and will seamlessly connect textbooks and teaching materials. We aim to build a seamless digital learning platform. Currently, more than 1 million people are using the service in more than 170 local
governments and approximately 2,300 elementary and junior high schools across the country, and the cumulative number of responses has exceeded 2.5 billion. We support children across the country in acquiring knowledge and skills through adaptive learning. Selected for the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry’s “Future Classroom” demonstration project for three consecutive years from 2018 to 2020.
