At KAI Nagato, a hot spring inn located in Nagato Yumoto Onsen in the mountains of northern Yamaguchi Prefecture, for a limited time only from January 31st to March 9th, 2025, you can enjoy the magical scenery of painted andon lights. We will be holding a walking program called “Walking around the andon lights colored with ink.” In order to make the Nagato Yumoto Onsen event “Otozuregawa Utaakari” themed around 15 poems by Misuzu Kaneko, a native of Nagato City, even more enjoyable, original andon lights are decorated with ink using Akama inkstone. You can enjoy a winter stroll through the illuminations of the hot spring town and the original andon lights that can only be seen during this period.
