Total Beauty Company uka (@instauka,@ukacojp) will hold a hair show “JUNIOR TOKYO7” by Dove Co., Ltd., KB Planning International Co., Ltd. and Assistant on October 22nd (Tuesday) at Spotify O in Shibuya, Tokyo. -Held at EAST. What is JUNIOR TOKYO JUNIOR TOKYO is a collaboration between Hiroyuki Watanabe of Uka Co., Ltd., Koichi Ono of Dub Co., Ltd., and KB Planning International Co., Ltd., in order to give creative dreams to the young generation who are focused on improving productivity in their daily work. A project launched by Ryoichi Katsura. The aim is to provide a place for self-expression to pre-debut assistants who will be responsible for the next generation of hairdressing. When the popular hair show “NOISE” from London arrived in Japan, JUNIOR TOKYO began with a show performed by junior staff as one of the events. The following year, in 2017, we became independent as “JUNIOR TOKYO”. The first event was held at O-East in Shibuya with 8 salons participating. Their pure and beautiful appearance captivated the audience of approximately 1,000 people as they took on creative challenges even though they were assistants. Assistants from all 12 salons participated 14 salons will participate in 2024, which will be the 7th edition. The assistants were in charge of everything from show composition and costumes to model selection, and their performances reflected their own passions.
