Starring Madoka Moriyasu! The stage “Kuchibiru ni Uta” opens! !
The stage play “Kuchibiru ni Uta wo”, starring Madoka Moriyasu, opened on Saturday, December 10th at Kameari Lirio Hall in Tokyo. This work is based on Eiichi Nakata’s novel “Kuchibiru ni Uta wo” (Shogakukan Bunko), which was inspired by “Tegami ~Haikei Jyuugo no Kimi e~”, which became the set song for the NHK National School Music
Competition.・The production was directed by Katsuhiko Nagato and made into a stage play for the first time. The story is set in a junior high school chorus club in the Goto Islands, Nagasaki Prefecture. Haruko Matsuyama (Yui Kojina), a music teacher and adviser to the chorus club, is going on maternity leave, so Yuri Kashiwagi (Madoka Moriyasu), a classmate from junior high school in Matsuyama who went on to a music college in Tokyo, will join the chorus club for one year. I decided to give guidance. Fascinated by the beautiful Kashiwagi, many male students joined the chorus club, which until then had only female members. It was decided to participate in a chorus contest with mixed male and female voices, but the female members and the male members who did not practice seriously began to conflict. [Image 1
Prior to the actual performance, Genepro was released to the media. After the rehearsal, we interviewed Madoka Moriyasu, Yui Koshina, Aimi Natsume as Nazuna Nakamura, Kuma Hiramatsu as Keisuke Mukai, Hinano as Kotomi Hasegawa, Misaki Nishikawa as Satoru Kuwabara, and Yu Ohara as Riku Mitamura. Akira Tokuoka, who played the role of Hikaru and Eri Tsuji, took the stage.
Starring Moriyasu said, “The rehearsal period flew by, and I have little experience with the stage, but I was able to face the rehearsal with the support of the staff and co-stars. Of course, the chorus is the highlight. However, there are many other human dramas, and I thought that there would be some points that everyone who watched it could sympathize with, so I wanted many people to see it. It’s a stage,” he said, looking back on the time of rehearsals and talking about his enthusiasm for the first day.
Haruko Matsuyama, Yuri’s junior high school classmate, is played by Yui Kojina, who was also a member of HKT48 like Moriyasu. “I play the role of a teacher and a pregnant woman, but I will do my best to pull Yuri together with all the students.” At first, I felt like there was a bit of a wall, but as we practiced more and more, we started remembering, and by the time we approached the final practice, we were close friends.” I talked about my thoughts.
Aimi Natsume, who plays the role of Nazuna Nakamura, a female member of the choir club, said, “The three of us (Moriyasu, Jinshina, and Natsume) are the same age. Playing a junior high school student at the age of 25 requires a lot of physical strength, and I think it’s hard to imagine. I felt that power was needed rather than being strong (laughs).I think this can be said for both chorus and stage
performance, but I thought it would be fun to create something together.” I told you.
Hinano, who plays Kotomi Hasegawa, who is also a member of the female chorus club, said, “I’m a second year high school student, so two years ago, I was the same age as Kotomi, but when I was in the second year of junior high school, I started to be affected by the
coronavirus, and I was in the third year of junior high school. At that time, there were almost no classes at school, and I never got into fights with my friends, participated in chorus competitions, or had sports festivals. By performing on stage, I felt like I had regained the youth that I had lost, and I think that it was definitely a work that stuck in one page of everyone’s youth.” said the joy of being able to complement
Akira Tokuoka plays Eri Tsuji, a female chorus member who is in charge of conducting. “Actually, I was in the 3rd year of middle school about 12 years ago (laughs). The instructor taught me a lot, and I felt that everyone’s songs were changing, so I was able to get on with it.” Kuma Hiramatsu, who plays the role of Keisuke Mukai, a member of the boys’ chorus club, said, “The first day will be approaching soon, but what we have accumulated up to this point, and what we have created together with the staff and the cast. I became a general pro that I can feel what it is, “he said, revealing that he gained more confidence in the general pro.
Misaki Nishikawa, who plays the role of Satoru Kuwabara, a male member of the chorus club, has experience in singing. “I knew that singing in chorus was a good thing, but as I got older, I decided to sing again. Yuki Ohara, who also plays the role of Riku Mitamura, a male member of the club, said, “It’s a violent and stupid role (laughs), but everyone accepted it, so I got a lot of help in the rehearsals.” I’ve been told many times that it’s fine, so I’ll do my best to show that from the first day!”
Moriyasu, who will play the lead role in his first stage play after graduating from HKT48, said, “I myself am different from the role and I am unreliable (laughs). I have been taught how to memorize and have practiced, so it really helped me.However, when the performance starts, I want to do my best so that I can lead everyone.” . Kojina, who I have known for a long time, said, “Mado-chan (Moriyasu) is usually a little more playful, but I wonder if he was nervous because he was the chairman?” Natsume said, “Huh? I had the image of a cool and serious Madoka-chan.” Hiramatsu also said, “From our point of view, Kashiwagi-sensei is a really nice person, and when she was standing in the middle of the stage, I felt her aura and presence.” I was surprised at the gap between Moriyasu’s image.
Moriyasu said that he was often helped by his co-stars, but he said, “During rehearsals, I spent half the time teaching dialects (laughs). There were many people who were confused about how to put intonation and accents, so I was able to help them.” It was great, especially Nazuna, who came to listen to us a lot, which made me happy.” At the end, Moriyasu said, “Everyone, in your daily life, there will be many painful things, sad things, and things you want to forget. , I think it’s a work that gives you positive power.I want you to apply it to your youth, but even if it’s not your actual school days, it’s about the time you worked hard. Or, I think there are many adults who think they are young now, so I would like for those people to sympathize.I can confidently say that it was a wonderful work, so I hope many people will I hope it will reach your eyes, ears, hearts, and hearts.”
The stage “Kuchibiru ni Uta wo”, which features the chorus scene of “Tegami ~Haikei Jyuugo no Kimi e~” and the original song “Kumo wo Nukete” for this work, will be held from December 10th (Sat) to 16th. Performed at Kameari Lirio Hall in Tokyo until Sunday (Friday). On December 10th and 11th, the Symphony Hills Boys and Girls Choir will appear as students from other schools, and from the 13th to 16th, members who participated in the audition will appear.
