Hacosta Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Representative Director: Yoshihiro Matsumura), which operates cosplay events throughout Japan, will hold a cosplay event “acosta!” as part of Itabashi Culture, starting from 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, March 30, 2025. The event will be held for the first time at venues such as Kaikan, Yuza Oyama Shopping District, and Happy Road Oyama Shopping District. “Acosta!” is one of Japan’s largest cosplay events, held almost every month in various parts of the country, and attracts over 200,000 people annually. Most of the participants are women in their teens to 20s, and more than 5,000 cosplayers and photographers participate each day in Ikebukuro, the center of the festival. “acosta!@Itabashi Oyama Street”, which will be held for the first time, will be held at Itabashi Bunka Kaikan, Yuza Oyama Shopping District, and Happy Road Oyama Shopping District as the main venues. The shopping street has many individual shops, giving it a nostalgic and warm feel that further enhances the world view of cosplayers.
