The culmination of the event is “Animan Festival will be held again this year. This year’s third edition is a collaboration event with Studio Deen, a major anime production company based in Kichijoji. We will deliver selected screenings and live talks of the masterpieces that have made the history of Studio Deen, which will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2025. Guests include Osamu Yamasaki, director of the TV anime “Hakuoki”, Shinichiro Miki, voice actor of Toshizo Hijikata, etc. Studio Deen has produced many masterpieces of animation. In the first part, we will screen two of his recent masterpieces: the TV anime series “Hakuouki”, which is based on the Shinsengumi motif, and “Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju”, which depicts the world of storytellers. For the talk live, we will be inviting Osamu Yamasaki, director of the TV anime “Hakuoki” series, Shinichiro Miki, who plays Toshizo Hijikata, as well as producer Nobumitsu Urasaki, head of Studio Dean Production Headquarters. In the second part, “Hell Girl,” “Hetalia: The Beautiful World,” “I’ll Arrest You (OVA),” and “Maison Ikkoku” will be screened from Studio Deen’s
