A concert featuring a 115-member public choir, assembled through public recruitment, a professional orchestra, and soloists will be held at the Takatsuki Castle Park Arts and Culture Theater on Sunday, November 23, 2025 (a national holiday). The public choir will perform Mozart’s masterpiece, “Requiem,” after roughly a year of practice. The hall will be filled with the sound of singing that will only be heard on this day. The choir, which began in January 2025, is made up of music lovers from inside and outside the city who came together for this concert. Members of various occupations and ages, from students to working adults, parents, and seniors, practiced together every weekend to improve their voices and pitch in preparation for this one-off performance. For this concert, the orchestra will be compactly organized to allow more members of the community choir to take the stage, with 115 members participating. This diverse group will come together to perform Mozart’s masterpiece, “Requiem,” as the
