(Headquarters: Sendai City, President and CEO: Tetsushiro Matsuzaki) will be holding the “Jozenji Street Jazz Festival 2025 Daterium” on Saturday, September 13th and Sunday, September 14th at Daterium on the first floor of the JR Sendai East Gate Building. We will be holding a “Tie-up Stage” event. During the event, singer Hiroko Williams and other leading jazz musicians from Tohoku will be gathered at the venue. Enjoy live performances over two days. Influenced by his father and uncle, who are wind instrument players and tuners, he began playing the trumpet at age nine. At age 20, he began studying under Gensuke Sawano. He is internationally acclaimed as a singing trumpeter, and his communicative tone resonates beyond the boundaries of the trumpet.
