The new studio is scheduled to begin operations in stages from February 2026, creating a one-stop system that will provide a complete range of services, from offline and online editing of anime to sound production and localization, which is essential for overseas expansion. Purpose In recent years, the animation market both in Japan and overseas has continued to expand dramatically. With overseas operations accounting for the majority of animation market sales, the international distribution of works contributes significantly to content holders’ profits, further increasing the demand for high-quality localization. In addition to its expertise in video editing and localization, Imagica EMS has strengthened its expertise in animation sound production. Features and Services of the New Studio 1. A comprehensive anime sound production environment Three dubbing booths, each accommodating up to 20 people, one of which is compatible with 5.1ch recording, allow for flexible sound production, primarily for TV anime and streaming anime. 2. Providing a Consistent Production Workflow In addition to three dubbing booths, the new studio will also have two offline editing rooms and two online editing rooms, allowing all post-production work for animation production to be carried out in one location. With Imagica EMS handling sound production, coordination with existing offline and online editing and anime localization will be smoother and faster. 3. Optimal Location and Advanced Security The new studio is located near the Nakano/Nakano-Sakaue area, home to many anime production companies, and enjoys excellent access from Tochomae Station and Nishi-Shinjuku Station. Maintaining a reasonable distance from major roads and subways ensures an ideal production environment with minimal impact from shaking, vibration, and noise. Furthermore, a sophisticated security system has been built to meet the requirements of each streaming platform, providing a safe and secure environment for domestic and international customers.
