Universal Music LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Hisashi Fujikura; hereinafter “Universal Music”) has announced the release of “Badlands (Decade Edition),” a 10th anniversary album celebrating Halsey’s debut album, “BADLANDS.” Anthology” will be released on Friday, August 29th.

Halsey’s debut album, “BADLANDS,” was released on August 28, 2015, and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. Featuring singles such as “Ghost,” “New Americana,” “Colors,” and “Castle,” the album has amassed over 9 billion streams worldwide. This special edition celebrates the 10th anniversary of “BADLANDS” with a new, special edition featuring unreleased demos and rare tracks. This collection includes 33 tracks, including the original album tracks, five orchestral versions, demos, remixes, rare tracks, and demo tracks. It will be released digitally as a 2-CD, 1-LP, and 3-LP set. The LP “BADLANDS DECADE EDITION” has been re-arranged by Halsey herself, features all-new artwork, and includes the tracks “Gasoline” and “Hurricane” for the first time. Also being released as a 2-LP is Halsey’s first-ever live album, “Badlands (Live from Webster Hall),” which captures her 2019 performance at Webster Hall in New York City. Halsey commented on the album’s 10th anniversary, “I can’t believe it’s been 10 years! A lot has happened in the past 10 years, but ‘BADLANDS’ has been the most exciting musical journey of my life.
