Kitamuki Miyu An actress and gravure model from Misawa City, Aomori Prefecture, she attracted attention in 2018 when she was selected as the “Asahi Kasei Campaign Model.” She made her debut as an actress in the historical drama “Idaten” and has been active in a wide range of fields, releasing photo books such as “Koiyu” and “Dappi.” She left her agency in 2024 and is currently active as a freelance actress, model, and YouTuber. From volleyball to the entertainment world ── Failure and determination Kitamuki had dreamed of a career in showbiz since she was in the second year of junior high school, and tried out for Shueisha’s magazine “Seventeen,” but was sadly eliminated in the final round. She also considered a career in volleyball, a sport she had been playing since the second year of elementary school, winning the Tohoku tournament and competing in the national tournament. However, an injury she sustained in her first year of high school would change her destiny. “Perhaps I’m destined to be in showbiz,” she thought, and gave up on volleyball and decided to take on the challenge of showbiz once again.
