Celebrating his 20th anniversary since his debut this year, Yasuyuki Horikomi, also known as Uma no Hone, will be appearing as the monthly selector for the September edition of “MELLOW MORNING” on the program “RADIO DONUTS” (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM), which airs every Saturday on J-WAVE (81.3 FM). This popular monthly segment features selectors who are avid vinyl record lovers, bringing you a calm and pleasant morning with carefully selected vinyl records. Over the course of four weeks, Yasuyuki Horikomi will personally select his favorite vinyl records and share his thoughts on them, with the theme of “Classic Albums to Listen to on Vinyl.” On the premiere day, Saturday, September 6th, Uma no Hone’s first new song in about 16 years, “Let’s get crazy,” will be aired for the first time on the show. This song will be included on the 20th anniversary best album, “BEST OF UMA NO HONE 2005-2025” (released Wednesday, September 24th). Sometimes rugged, sometimes smart, born to explore more life-sized messages and sounds. In the same year, they released their debut album, “Uma no Hone,” and in 2009, their second album, “River.” When the album was released, they embarked on a nationwide tour, captivating audiences with their alternative band sound and sweet songs, a departure from Kirinji.
