Sunao Artist Photo Sunao’s latest album, “Sparkle Pop,” will be released on September 3, 2025. A release tour has been announced. The tour will visit seven locations across the country, kicking off with a performance in Niigata on October 3rd, and will continue for two months, concluding on December 10th at Shindaita FEVER in Tokyo. Sunao is a three-piece rock band that began its activities in 2020. Their distinctive sound, featuring a refreshing balance of pop, indie, and folk, is also notable for their powerful performances and impressive vocals during live performances. In 2025, they’ll be appearing at numerous circuit events and festivals across the country, and they’ll be hitting the road again this fall. Their second mini-album, “Sparkle pop,” is a conceptual album that takes a more pop-oriented approach. This tour promises to be a chance to fully enjoy Sunao’s pop music. Formed in November 2020 by Kazuki Ohata and Yuya, the band welcomed support members and began
activities. Ami, who played support bass at their first live show, became a permanent member in February 2022. While their uniquely balanced sound combines pop, indie, and folk elements, their powerful live performances and impressive vocal talent have garnered attention. In December 2023, they released their first nationwide full album, “Kaigara wo Hiroi Atsume Youni.” In the spring of 2024, they embarked on a release tour, concluding with a highly successful final solo concert. In the summer and fall, they released digital singles. In 2025, they performed at numerous circuit events and festivals across the country.
