Since then, the association has received submissions from a wide range of age groups across the country, with no restrictions on the subject matter or eligibility requirements, as long as it relates to an aging society or the daily lives of the elderly. Silver Senryu has become established as a form of poetry that reflects the current state of Japan’s super-aging society, and the association holds annual senryu competitions to support the silver generation in their second years of life. What is the National Paid Nursing Home Association (Yurokyo)? The Association of Elderly Care Facilities is a public interest incorporated association established under Articles 30 and 31 of the Elderly Welfare Act, with the objectives of protecting users of paid nursing homes and promoting the healthy development of businesses that establish and operate such homes.
