Led by Pieclex, P-FACTS is a recycling infrastructure that handles everything from the collection of apparel and textile products to composting. These uniforms will also be collected and composted by P-FACTS after a long period of wear. We created them with the hope that they will become a symbol of the local festival, which will continue for a long time. Pieclex will also be exhibiting at the Daikanyama Cooling Festival on September 20th (Sat), 21st (Sun), and 26th (Fri), providing an opportunity for people to have fun and think about the environment through festival activities using environmentally friendly products. The students will upcycle collected PET bottle caps and school lunch straws into tops and carabiners. The completed original items will be sold at the Daikanyama T-Site booth. This is the first attempt in Japan to recycle school lunch straws, and the children’s challenge is a step toward a circular society of the future. Be sure to pick up a one-of-a-kind item.
