The original music video for this song will premiere on the official Empty old City YouTube channel on Monday, September 8, 2025 at 9:00 PM. ■ “Zenless Zone Zero” new character “Seed” features an image song with all-English lyrics that expresses the cycle of life “Zenless Zone Zero” is an urban fantasy action RPG developed by HoYoverse, the global entertainment brand behind “Genshin Impact” and “Honkai Impact: Starrail.” Ahead of the release of the new character “Seed,” Empty Old City has surprised everyone by announcing their new song, “Pulse in Flora,” as Seed’s theme song. The song centers around Seed’s blessings and expresses the cycle of all life that lies behind them. The lyrics, entirely in English, depict a grand worldview, making it a unique piece of music from Empty Old City. I collaborated with kahoca on the lyrics, weaving together narrative and philosophy, and in the composition and arrangement, I worked to reduce the number of notes while maintaining a gentle, botanical sound and a sense of scale. This is an important song that complements the green of the plants beautifully. kahoca Together with Neuron, I wrote the lyrics, depicting hope for the future born from the sometimes cruel principles of life, and a great love that encompasses everything. I put those feelings into songs that speak to me with a gentle voice.
