He made his debut in 2001 with “I WILL GET YOUR KISS,” which he wrote and composed himself. In addition to his musical activities as a singer-songwriter, he is also active as an actor, primarily in musicals. In 2002, he appeared in the musical “Mozart!” He played the title role in “The Great Passage,” for which he won the Yomiuri Theater Award for Best Actor, the Sugimura Haruko Award, and the Newcomer Award in the Theater Division of the Agency for Cultural Affairs Arts Festival Awards. In 2017, he won the Yomiuri Theater Award for Best Actor for the musical “Jersey Boys.” His major appearances in recent years include “Frankenstein” and “CROSS ROAD: Paganini, the Devil’s Violinist.” He is scheduled to appear in the musical “Jersey Boys” from August to September 2025.
