The museum provides detailed information on museums and historical sites, such as the “Mongol Invasion Defense Forts,” which were built at the time to prevent the Mongol army from landing on the coast and still remain in various places along the Hakata coast, and the Matsuura City Buried Cultural Properties Center Guidance Facility, which exhibits Mongol warships and their relics discovered on the seabed of Takashima Island. Other features include the third feature, “The French Tank Corps: A Lost Victory,” “The Unfinished Chancellor: Komatsu Tatewaki,” which explores the true character of the man who, although less well-known than Saigo and Okubo due to his early death, was actually the man who ran Satsuma at the end of the Edo period; “The Life of Trotsky,” which introduces the life of the founder of the Red Army who lost the power struggle with Stalin and was assassinated; and “The Life of Ito,” who graduated from the Nakano Army School and went to Taiwan to engage in guerrilla warfare at the end of the Pacific War. In addition to an interview with Satoshi, the magazine features many other interesting articles, including “How Did U-Boats Influence the Development of Japanese Submarines?”, “World War II and Female Pilots,” and “The Hinomaru’s Tracks: The Type 3 Tank.” Image
