Factory/Compile Heart and with cumulative sales of over 3 million copies worldwide, will be adapted into a musical in September 2023. The key visual for “Hyperdimension Neptunia Re:BOOT,” featuring a completely new cast and set to be performed again at Rokugyokai Hall from Wednesday, October 1st to Sunday, October 5th, 2025, has been released. “Hyperdimension Neptunia” is a RPG game based on the concept of “anthropomorphization, moe, and transformation” set in the “Game Industry World,” a world modeled after the actual “game industry.” Featuring beautiful girls, including the heroine Neptune, the game is based on the concept of “personification, moe, and transformation.” The script and direction will continue as in the previous work, with director Sho Kubota, who has worked on a wide range of projects, from 2.5-D to straight stage productions such as the stage play “Fire Force” series and “Our Seven Days War,” in charge of the script and direction. The four nations are Planeptune, Lastation, Lowee, and Leanbox. There was once conflict between nations, but fearing that each goddess would needlessly weaken the other’s national power, they concluded a “Treaty of Friendship.” Time passed, and something strange happened to the world again. One day, “music” suddenly disappeared from all four continents. Seeing the residents of the Game Industry World bewildered by this sudden turn of events, the four goddesses all tried to confront the mysterious situation. However, the goddesses began to experience further changes related to “music.” Along with the music that was thought to have disappeared, the goddesses were attacked by someone. “If you want to bring music back to the world, try to surpass the music and songs we play.” A mysterious shadow steals music from the world and manipulates it. And standing behind it is Mage Conne. “What is this? So it’s just a rhythm game?” Neptune remains as carefree as ever, even in such a situation.
