Along with the release of the KV today, comments were also received from announcers Otake Kazuki, Mimura Masakazu, Saito Haru, and Kano Eri. The ever-popular Hawaii location shoot in “Moyamoya Summers 2,” in which the duo Summers wander through empty towns (moyamoya towns) and the backstreets of big cities, is now in its 13th year, appearing on DMM TV again this year, following last year’s! From familiar faces to new, lesser-known hotspots, “Moyasama” will bring you the insider charms of Oahu, Hawaii, in six episodes starting Saturday, September 6th! With Saito as the new assistant, the Hawaii location shoot is taking on a new lineup, and second-generation announcer Kano also joins in. For the first time, the four of them will spend three whole days wandering around, in a hellish training camp to get the most footage! The 2025 Moyasama in Hawaii will be full of firsts, including a first for the TV industry, a shocking attempt to go to the same place twice, and a second graduation dash to the same place! And for the first time, fifth-generation announcer Haru Saito will be filming overseas, awakening in Hawaii…!? Three full days of wandering around on the biggest scale in Moyasama history!! The 13th episode is a thrilling journey filled with firsts Day one starts in the familiar Waikiki. Enjoy the recently popular impromptu street caricatures and delightful tropical sweets unique to Hawaii. Of course, you’ll also visit Izumo Taisha Shrine, a Hawaiian institution, and ALOHA TOFU for the first time in 13 years. Day two features a beach flag with Saito’s feet glowing, as well as an appearance by the mystical god “O-Tiki-san”! A super energetic special guest also appears in the second half. On the third day, we head to the North Shore, a place closely associated with Moyasama. We’ll also visit Matsumoto Shave Ice, a place steeped in Moyasama history, and reunite with the Soap Family! There were parts of Hawaii I knew, and parts I’d never seen before. The weather was great, so the footage was beautiful no matter where I looked. The beach flag game on Kailua Beach was particularly impressive! I think Saito Haru really let loose on his first time in Hawaii! It was a different side to the one we saw on location in Tokyo. ▼Masakazu Mimura (Samaazu) This time, the location shoot in Hawaii was a Hawaii training camp. I think it was the best shoot we’ve ever had. Among all the other things, the most memorable was DAY 2’s “Green, Orange, Green, Orange.” We’ll be visiting the usual places in Hawaii, but for the first time we’ll be bringing the fifth-generation announcer, Saito, along. I think it was great to see everyone’s reactions and the warm, fuzzy feelings that grew as the show progressed. Please be sure to watch! ▼Saito Haru (TV Tokyo Announcer) I am filled with gratitude for this invaluable opportunity to be in Hawaii for my fourth location shoot since taking up this position. During my first time in Hawaii, I tried a variety of things. I even sprinted at full speed during a beach flag competition with the director! After trying it several times, I was completely sore the next day (lol). And, for some reason, I also tried the zip line as a penalty. The thrill was greater than I expected, and I was in a panic, my heart rate reaching 160. But the exhilaration of gliding through nature was exceptional. I was with the Moyasama members from breakfast to dinner, and just like on the show, there was laughter even when the cameras weren’t rolling. It was an
unforgettable location shoot where I was able to experience the warmth of so many people! ▼Eri Kano (TV Tokyo announcer) It’s been nine years since that day when I cried the most in my life. I never thought I’d be walking around Hawaii with this group again! This time, the fifth-generation Yo-chan ran and jumped with all her might, and was baptized with the dice for the first time. Seeing her like that, I’m convinced that Moyasama will be safe in the future. I’m so jealous that she was able to blend in so easily (lol). The all-out race between the second and fifth-generation members, who were 16 years apart, is also a fond memory. I had resolved not to cry, but reuniting with everyone on the North Shore made my tear ducts loosen again (just a little). Even though times and generations change, there are some things that never change. That’s Moyasama.
