(Female, 60s) I learned that people choose their books with particular attention to detail, such as “something that can store a lot of books” and “something with a good design.” Some people seem to be particular about how they use their bookshelves, such as arranging their books in alphabetical order. ■Summary Today, we conducted a survey on “book storage methods” and present the results. 31.6% of respondents answered that they have “approximately 11 to 50 books at home,” revealing a wide range of numbers between 1 and 300 books in the home. When asked how they stored their books, over 60% chose “bookshelves,” and many respondents also neatly arranged them as interior décor. Bookshelves come in a wide variety of styles, with different storage capacities. When checking in-store, you may only be able to see a limited selection of bookshelves. If you shop online, you might be able to find something that suits your needs, such as the size that fits your home, the amount of storage you require, and the design.
