Ume Watanabe Doll Exhibition: Poetry of the Rice Path As a special event to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the opening of the Former Miki Family Residence, we will be holding the Watanabe Ume Farmer Doll Exhibition, “Poem of the Rice Paddy.” This heartwarming exhibition features dolls depicting rural landscapes and people working in the fields, recreating the rural scenery of the past. On the first day, a commemorative talk will be held by Ume Watanabe’s eldest daughter and representative of the Friends of Ume Watanabe Association, on the theme of “Spiritual Hometown: What Ume Wanted to Leave Behind.” ・Holding period: From Friday, September 26, 2020 Until Monday, October 20, 2020 ・Release date: Friday, Saturday, Sunday Mondays and public holidays ・Opening hours: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Last admission is 3:30 PM) Admission Fee: Adults 310 yen, High School and University Students 210 yen Elementary and Junior High School Students 100 yen Image
