International Exchange Event with Bulgaria Running for Over 20 Years This event showcases Bulgarian folk dance and music, as well as local products such as wine and honey shipped directly from the country. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the event, which began in 2001 and plays a key role in deepening friendship between Japan and Bulgaria. The Kazanlak Folk Dance Ensemble, one of Bulgaria’s longest-running youth dance troupes, will be visiting Japan to perform at the event venue and engage in cross-cultural exchange activities at schools and welfare facilities. The Beginning of International Exchange Our company has supported this event ever since the late Shinichi Munemasa (our founder) visited Bulgaria in the summer of 2001 and was impressed by Bulgarian folk dance, rhythmic gymnastics, and the warm-hearted humanity of the Bulgarian people. Current president Hiroshi Munemasa has taken over that role, working hard to serve as a bridge for cultural exchange.

[Osaka-Kansai Expo] Date and Time: Saturday, September 27th, 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM Venue: Plaza in front of the Bulgaria Pavilion, Expo Osaka-Kansai Content: The Kazanlak Folk Dance Troupe will perform dance and music.
