The podcast program “Rinrei Journey to Asia Collaborated by TRANSIT,” themed around “comfort and healing,” has begun broadcasting. Music Bird, which distributes programs to community FM stations nationwide, will begin broadcasting the podcast program “Rinrei Journey to Asia Collaborated by TRANSIT” on Monday, September 8th. The program is themed around “comfort and relaxation” and is sponsored by Rinrei Co., Ltd. (https://www.rinrei.co.jp/) Celebrating its 80th anniversary last year, the company continues to pursue comfort, including “beautiful and radiant spaces” and “comfortable and clean living.” The program’s concept is “time for your own relaxation.” It visits one Asian country each month, allowing people who lead busy lives every day, whether it be housework or work, to enjoy a mental trip to Asia during their bath time or commute. The first month, September, will feature two episodes exploring Thailand. Episode 1: History, Future, and Diversity – Bangkok to Ayutthaya Episode 2: Mountain People’s Coffee and the Final Paradise: Chiang Mai – Koh Lipe – Phuket Focusing on capturing the authentic sounds of each country, the series is composed of
environmental sounds and music actually recorded on-site, as well as narration by the “traveler.” The script was written in collaboration with TRANSIT, a travel culture magazine that travels the globe in search of beautiful things, experiences, and people, featuring a variety of photographs and in-depth articles on each country and region. The program delivers a soothing soundscape of Asia to listeners. The narrator is Masami Kanazawa, an actor with a deep knowledge of Asia. “Journey to Asia” will not only be a podcast, but will also be releasing a playlist selected by Masami Kanazawa on Spotify, further challenging itself to express the program’s worldview through music. “Rinrei Journey to Asia Collaborated by TRANSIT” Distributed on the second Monday of every month on the radiko Podcast Music Bird Channel. *From the third week onwards, it will also be available on Spotify, Amazon Music, and Apple Podcasts.
