In addition, handmade items made by people involved in employment support were selected as souvenirs to give to the contestants representing each country. They shared the excitement and thrill of knowing that something they had made with their own hands would be in the hands of people around the world. The presentations, which exuded these activities and passion, resonated deeply with the judges and captivated them. These results strongly demonstrated Japan’s presence on the global stage.

It is truly a “great achievement that will be etched in the history of Japanese contests.” Despite the pressure of taking on the world stage, Mitsuyasu confidently expressed her theme of “women’s empowerment.” As a single mother, she faced numerous obstacles, but never gave up on her challenges, and she made the most of it on the world stage. She was selected as one of the top five in the advocacy category. Her example inspires courage and hope for all women embarking on a similar path of challenge, making her a living role model who resonates not only with the audience and judges, but with many other women as well.
