To mark one year since the “After drupa Seminar” held in August 2024, Canon MJ and Canon PPS will hold a seminar to reexamine the challenges facing Japan’s printing industry and the direction it should take going forward. The seminar will be divided into two parts. In the first part, Canon PPS will introduce its future product strategy and examples of digital printing usage overseas. In the second part, we will welcome guest speakers Yukinori Okamoto, CEO of Goof Inc. (Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo), and Yasuo Miyamoto, Executive Vice President of Value Machine International Inc. (Adachi-ku, Tokyo), who are working to solve printing business issues, to discuss the future direction of Japan’s printing industry brought about by advances in digital printing technology. After the seminar, you will also have the opportunity to tour the Production System Center showroom at Canon MJ’s headquarters. Through product introductions and print sample displays*1 of the B3-size color inkjet digital press “varioPRINT iX1700 and the B2 size inkjet digital press “varioPRESS iV7, both currently under development for release, as well as the “varioPRINT iX3200, which combines high image quality and high productivity, Canon will explain its future product strategy and the features of each product. *1.
