Gibson Brands Japan today released the second episode of “VS J-45,” the official Japanese Gibson TV program that explores the appeal of the Gibson J-45, Gibson’s flagship acoustic model. Since its birth in 1942, the J-45 has been known as a “workhorse,” delivering its “magic tone” to the performances of renowned guitarists from Japan and abroad. This video content features a variety of guitar enthusiasts playing and discussing this legendary instrument. Our second guest is screenwriter/director/actor Kankuro Kudo, whose works have shaped an entire era, and Tomoyasu Uehara, guitarist/composer behind the sound of the popular rock band “Dohatsuten.” The two, who will also be teaming up for the play “Dai Parcojin 5. Okatai Rock Opera ‘Rainy Gallery, Barefoot Women…'” which will begin performances at the Parco Theater on November 6th of this year, will unravel the various characteristics of the J-45 through their well-coordinated talk and session.
