For three days, the Odaiba Deck will be in Mexico! “Fiesta Mexicana in Odaiba Tokyo” has been held since 2000 to celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day (September 16th). In addition to expanding the circle of friendship between Mexico and Japan, the event also aims to make Mexico feel closer to you. This year marks the 24th anniversary, and there are plenty of events to introduce the charms of Mexico to many people and deepen their understanding! For three days, the Odaiba Deck will be in Mexico!! More than 30 tents will be set up at the venue, selling folk crafts and local specialties, and offering a taste of Mexican cuisine, registered as a UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritage, allowing you to experience Mexico without leaving Odaiba. On the stage, you can enjoy magnificent Mexican dance and lively Mexican music, and in a special space, you can enjoy Mexican professional wrestling “Lucha Libre” by the Keio University Pro Wrestling Club. In addition, there will be family-friendly programs, including a piñata-breaking event* that children can enjoy. This is an event that can be enjoyed by families, friends, and people of all ages. *A game in which blindfolded children use a stick to smash a piñata filled with sweets and other treats.
