[Ichihara History Museum] The Ichihara History Museum will be holding a special exhibition, “A Journey of Rebirth – Ichihara and Dewa Sanzan Faith,” from October 11, 2025! Ichihara History Museum Press Release: September 11, 2025 The Ichihara History Museum will be hosting a special exhibition, “A Journey of Rebirth – Ichihara and Dewa Sanzan Faith,” from October 11, 2025! Pre-registration is now open for related events such as limited-time bus tours and “soap mirror making” events. The special exhibition “A Journey of Rebirth – Ichihara and Dewa Sanzan Faith” will be held at I’Museum Center (Ichihara History Museum) from Friday, October 11, 2025 to Sunday, December 14, 2025. This exhibition explores the Dewa Sanzan faith in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, which has been a faith of approximately 400 years since the Edo period, through materials preserved at Dewa Sanzan and throughout the city. We are currently accepting advance registrations for a limited-time bus tour, “Tracing the Footsteps of Sanzan Worship in the City,” which takes you to sightseeing spots that are normally off-limits, and a “Soap Mirror Making” experience using 3D technology from the Chiba University Design and Culture Planning Laboratory! In addition, we have prepared a number of events that you can enjoy along with the exhibition, with registrations open on the day. Look forward to the opening on Friday, October 11th!

The mold for the mirror was created from 3D data in a collaborative project with the Chiba University Design and Cultural Planning Laboratory.
