Sagamihara, a town where space feels close to you. “Uchuu Kousaten” Official Website:https://sagamihara-uchukousaten.studio.site/ In collaboration with Sagamihara City and JAXA, this project will develop space-themed real-life events and PR initiatives throughout the city, based on Sagamihara City’s concept of “a city where all kinds of people encounter all kinds of space.” On Saturday, October 11th and Sunday, October 12th, we will be holding a real-life event called “Cosmic Crossing Heaven,” centered around five experiences that allow you to experience space, at two venues: Sagamihara City Museum and the JAXA Sagamihara Campus. These two special days will allow residents and visitors to “encounter the universe” through their creativity and curiosity. On the day, a variety of unique content will be gathered, including a planetarium screening supervised by Nobuo Oki of the popular rock band ACIDMAN, a planetarium live performance by musician Shuta Hasunuma, the Space Market with its playful space-themed goods and artwork, Space Gourmet with a special menu available only on this day, and Space Art by creators such as illustrator Megumi Nagayama. To realize a “place where space and everyday life intersect,” Camp handled the entire process, from concept planning and selection of illustrators for the main visuals, to overall creative production related to the website and event, content planning, and even operation. Leveraging its extensive network of artists, creators, and local businesses, Camp creates content that connects the city, space, and people. While it’s a space event, the design aimed to reach a diverse audience by combining experiences that appeal to the five senses, including music, art, and food. Experience it at a real event! Supervised by Nobuo Oki (Vocals, Guitar) of the three-piece rock band ACIDMAN, which continues to express a magnificent world based on the themes of “life” and “space,” the production is titled “The Stars Are Here ~music by ACIDMAN~.” Accompanied by ACIDMAN’s music, which is used throughout the film, the production will take you on a journey through space and into the human body.
