Performer Profile 〈Violin〉Hayashi Kanako

Graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Art High School and Tokyo University of the Arts. Won first place in the high school student division at the 11th All-Japan Junior Classical Music Competition. Also won first place in the university student division of the string instruments category at the 13th All-Japan Junior Classical Music Competition. He has participated in seminars and music festivals both in Japan and abroad, including the Saito Kinen Festival and the Ozawa Seiji Music Academy. He also performs solo and chamber music concerts independently. He has studied under Yurie Komuro, Shoko Yasui, Nobuyuki Wakabayashi, Kazuki Sawa, Chiyomitsu Noguchi, and Takumi Komoriya. He was a core member of the Hyogo Performing Arts Center Orchestra, a violinist with the Osaka Philharmonic Orchestra, and a contract member of the Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, and is currently active as a freelancer. Currently enrolled in the doctoral program at Toho Gakuen School of Music, writing his doctoral thesis on the Muzio Clementi piano method under the supervision of Minoru Nishihara. He presides over R-music (Tokyo and Nagoya) and engages in a wide range of performance activities, including solo recitals, chamber music, instrumental accompaniment, and performances at hotels and events, as well as mentoring the next generation. He graduated from the Music Department of Nagoya Municipal Kikuri High School and the Toho Gakuen School of Music, and completed a Master’s degree in Music at the Toho Gakuen School of Music Graduate School. He serves as a teaching assistant at the school. He has also performed with the Central Aichi Symphony Orchestra, He has also appeared in the Shinagawa Learning Forest Special Course sponsored by Shinagawa Ward, and the 2024 Global Leadership Education (GLE) national tour. He has performed in the 68th and 69th Nagoya Municipal Kikuri High School Music Department Regular Concerts, a student concert for top-achieving students at Toho Gakuen School of Music, and the Toho Gakuen School of Music Piano Major Graduation Concert. He is a member of the 4th class of Star Classic Academia. Received the 2024 Kawai Sound Technology and Music Promotion Foundation Research Grant in the Music Promotion Division. 1st place at the 27th Burckhardt International Music Competition. 1st place in the Recital Division of the 22nd Osaka International Music Competition. Gold Prize and Chunichi Shimbun Prize in the High School A, B, and C Divisions of the 33rd Aichi Piano Competition. 1st place at the International Moscow Music Competition. Numerous other awards. Has completed master classes in various countries, including the 20th Hamamatsu International Piano Academy, the 13th Ibaraki International Music Academy, Euro Music Festival and Academy (Germany), Mozarteum Summer International Music Academy (Austria), and TIHMS Summer Academy (Netherlands), and has performed in graduation recitals. She has previously studied piano under Kumiko Ogawa, Midori Sano, Megumi Sano, Yoshimi Tamaki, Hideto Nishikawa, and Hiroe Arai, and is currently studying piano under Kazune Shimizu and musicology under Minoru Nishihara.
