ABEMA, the new television of the future, will broadcast the popular superhero anime “My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON” for free and stream it for one week free of charge starting October 4, 2025 (Saturday) at 6:00 PM. “My Hero Academia” (commonly known as “Hiroaka”) is a hugely popular manga by Kohei Horikoshi that ran in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine for 10 years from 2014 to 2024. Set in a world where people with supernatural abilities known as “Quirks” are commonplace, the hero, Izuku Midoriya (commonly known as “Deku”), grows alongside his friends at the prestigious hero training school, U.A. High School, to become a “hero” who protects society and fights against criminals who abuse their “Quirks.” Fans worldwide have been captivated by the thrilling drama and heated battles unfolding among Deku and other characters, and the manga series has sold over 100 million copies worldwide as of the final volume, volume 42. The TV anime series based on the manga aired from the first season in 2016 through to the seventh season, with the eighth season, “FINAL SEASON,” set to begin airing on Saturday, October 4, 2025. The story will finally depict the conclusion of the final battle with the villain, and much attention is focused on how the story will unfold. ABEMA has announced that it will broadcast “My Hero Academia FINAL SEASON” for free, and will also stream the latest episode for free for one week. Starting Saturday, October 4, 2025, immediately after the terrestrial broadcast, the latest episode will be available for free streaming every Saturday at 6:00 PM for one week. Additionally, starting at 9:30 PM, the latest episode will be broadcast free of charge on the “ABEMA Anime Channel,” complete with commentary. In addition, “ABEMA” is currently
broadcasting the “My Hero Academia” series for free on its dedicated channel until Saturday, October 4, the day the “FINAL SEASON” begins. From the TV anime series to OVAs, and even the official My Hero Academia spin-off “Vigilante: My Hero Academia Illegals,” we’re broadcasting them daily for free.
