Featured in many media outlets and becoming a hot topic! The book was featured in various media outlets and gained acclaim, with many bookstores selling out shortly after its release. While it was only available at bookstores in Kumamoto Prefecture and online bookstores like Amazon, we received numerous orders from all over Japan. [Author introduction] Morihiro Hosokawa 79th Prime Minister of Japan (August 1993 – April 1994) 18th Head of the Hosokawa Clan Born in 1938, graduated from the Faculty of Law at Sophia University. After working as a newspaper reporter and member of the House of
Councillors, he served as governor of Kumamoto Prefecture for two terms from 1983. In May 1992, he launched the Japan New Party and became its leader. He was first elected to the House of
Representatives in the July 1993 election. The following August, he became Prime Minister of an eight-party coalition government. He retired from politics in 1998, turning 60. He travels between Futoan in Yugawara, Kanagawa Prefecture, and Tokyo, where he is involved in a variety of artistic endeavors, including pottery, calligraphy, lacquerware, and sliding door painting.
