Co-directed by Kentaro Watanabe, the exhibition will feature works by 14 artists who engage with crafts, handicrafts, memory, and inheritance. The aim is for each material and expression to quietly influence the viewer’s senses, creating a space that resonates with the “prayer” and “question” hidden in the everyday. In addition, as a linked exhibition to this project, there will be a special exhibition of swords by contemporary swordsmith Kawashima Kazushiro (Bizen Osafune). Visitors can see the works he creates in his own forging workshop in Bizen Osafune, Setouchi City, Okayama Prefecture, a mecca for Japanese swords.

It is a new proposal for incorporating art into everyday life, adding color to bathrooms, which tend to be rather impersonal. In the art fair area of the venue, an installation by Face Oka will be displayed in conjunction with this project. Along with a spatial presentation using a bathtub and a CRT television, visitors will be able to experience the intersection of the world of his work and the sensibility of Scalp D.
