All the performers wore aloha shirts and performed a special summer event titled “Summer’s Not Over Yet! A Night Out Aloha Festival!”. The “Remember That Summer! Night Out Summer Quiz!” featured multiple-choice questions from famous scenes from the past, and the “Age Age Time” reward for successful challenges got the audience involved and excited. The “Soaked Age Age Time” was a huge success, with the sudden appearance of a group of macho guys using water guns, creating an atmosphere so heated it was hard to believe it was September. Furthermore, the “Everyone Together! Vibrating Gesture Game!” featured a penalty game of “vibrating chairs,” and the unfamiliar gestures and the MCs’ full-throttle performances had the audience in stitches, regardless of whether they got it right or wrong. Towards the end of the event, there was also a large-scale challenge called “Give Balloons to Everyone! The Great Balloon Battle!” in which balloons were distributed to all the spectators at the venue within a time limit of 428 seconds, a reference to Shibuya, and everyone had to pop them all at once. While there was some anxiety about whether they would be able to distribute them all within the time limit, the macho gang and staff all worked together to complete the challenge, which was a great success and brought the event to a grand finale. ▼”Two People Smoking Smoke Behind the Supermarket” ABEMA Anime Festival Special Stage

On stage, introductions were made to the characters played by Sato and Naruse, as well as their favorite scenes from the original work, and comments from the original author, Mr. Jinushi, to the two main cast members, greatly exciting fans eagerly awaiting the broadcast. A raffle was also held on stage, where attendees could win a signed poster of the two main cast members. It was a special stage that further heightened expectations for the anime. ▼ “TV Anime “Dandadan”: A Gal Runs the Old Ladies’ Conference! Stage” Image

The event featured a “Dandadan Granny Special,” a unique stage performance featuring the renowned actors who played the unique “old hag” characters, along with the “gyaru” Momo, creating a hilarious experience. In the middle of the event, a “Dandadan Granny Special” was held, where famous scenes from the series were revisited through video. Discussions while watching the footage revealed behind-the-scenes stories, providing a must-see for fans. There was also an improvisational variety segment, in which the three performers delivered “hot girl” lines depending on the situation. One of the performers even attempted to incorporate “genegay words” (slang for young people) into their lines, and the veterans, despite being hesitant to use the slang, performed confidently, eliciting laughter and applause from the audience. Finally, at the end of the event, it was announced that the
long-awaited third season of the “Dandadan” anime series would be produced, sparking excitement in the venue. ▼”Hologoe!” Abema Anime Festival Stage”

The event kicked off with a short play called “Hologoe Improvisation Theater: Idol Formation Edition,” in which the four performers improvised an idol group, eliciting thunderous applause and laughter from the very start. Across the roughly 90-minute program, a variety of different segments were featured, including a mini-game set in a theme park-style attraction, a quiz-style segment where participants had to express a given word in a single kanji character, and a segment testing announcer-level skills in reading a long narration without stumbling or making mistakes. In the second half of the show, there was a participatory corner called “As Hologoe-sama Says,” where the audience became “Horogoe-sama” and drew fortune slips, which the performers then recreated, keeping the venue in a frenzy from start to finish. ▼”ABEMA Anime Festival “SPY×FAMILY” Special Talk Stage”

The cast members spoke about their feelings just before the start of Season 3, and Eguchi and Matsuda shared their thoughts on the latest promotional video and new key visual, delving into the show’s highlights. To test their ability to blend in without standing out, a skill necessary for spies, the two competed in a “Blend into the Masses! Majority Challenge!”, a challenge inspired by the series, in which they predicted the “majority” of the audience and chose an option. This unique challenge, in which the winner was determined by who could figure out the “majority,” had the audience in stitches. The friendly, boys’ get-together-like atmosphere excited the fans, making it a special stage that maximized their anticipation ahead of the start of Season 3. ▼More exciting events coming up!
