Four titles from the “LP” series will be released simultaneously on Friday, December 19th: Oscar Peterson Trio’s “Please Request,” Diana Krall’s “The Look of Love,” Takako Mamiya’s “LOVE TRIP,” and Junko Ohashi’s “MAGICAL: The World of Junko Ohashi III.”

“100%” Pure LP first appeared in 2012. At the time, it was a new, Made in Japan luxury record, garnering attention both domestically and internationally, with overseas labels specializing in high-quality sound releasing similar concept products. The super high-end LP will be making a comeback in 2025, as the vinyl record market has grown in popularity since 2012. This time, we’re releasing four titles: two masterpieces from the prestigious jazz label Verve, Oscar Peterson Trio’s “Please Request” and Diana Krall’s “The Look of Love,” both highly valued reference albums among audiophiles; Takako Mamiya’s “LOVE TRIP,” a world-renowned city pop album whose captivating female vocals are a perfect match for vinyl; and Junko Ohashi’s “MAGICAL: The World of Junko Ohashi III.” ■Features of “100% Pure LP” Uncolored virgin vinyl (180 gram heavyweight vinyl) ⇒By using pure straight vinyl chloride, which does not affect sound quality and does not contain any coloring agents such as carbon black that are typically used in vinyl records, we provide acoustic stability and high reproducibility. Metal Master Press ⇒ This method omits the metal mother and stamper from the process of pressing a standard vinyl record. Pressing directly from the metal master allows for faithful groove formation. However, due to its inferior durability, quantities are limited. Selecting the best master and mastering faithfully to it ⇒Based on a flat transfer from the original analog tape, we maximize the quality of the master by creating a sound that emphasizes sonic freshness and dynamic range. In addition, the four LP titles being released this time use the 45 rpm used for 12-inch singles, rather than the usual 33 rpm. While this shortens the recording time on each side, resulting in two discs, it allows for wider, longer grooves to be carved, and the faster rotation improves stability. From material selection to pressing, every process has been thoroughly refined to maximize the value of vinyl, resulting in a 100% Pure LP. The sound is fresh and elegant.
