Prefecture, the heart of Bishu, one of the world’s three major wool-producing regions, this work depicts the courage to continue taking on challenges and the love that supports them through the struggles and challenges of a girl with a developmental disability who strives to achieve her dreams, along with her family and friends. The film was highly praised for its universal theme of family love and for conveying the charm of local culture both domestically and
internationally, leading to this award. The film features a talented cast including lead actress Kisaki Hattori, Soya Kurokawa, Sae Okazaki, and Eisaku Yoshida, weaving together a human drama rooted in the local community.
