While active as a member of Hello! Project’s “BEYOOOOONDS,” Moeka Kobayashi is also making her presence known in the world of classical music. She will be releasing her long-awaited first solo classical CD, “Honopiano.” This special work is a collaboration between Up-Front Promotion Inc. (CEO: Takeshi Nishiguchi; hereafter “Up-Front”), which has expanded the possibilities for artists, and Tacticato Inc. (CEO: Yuichiro Inagaki; hereafter “Tacticato”), which has proposed new values ​​for classical music. It is designed to appeal to both listeners who love classical music and those experiencing it for the first time. After graduating from the Tokyo College of Music’s Piano Performer Course, Moeka Kobayashi has earned acclaim for her numerous performances. This CD features a selection of masterpieces by masters such as Chopin and Debussy, following the traditional path of a classical CD, but with her own fresh interpretations. “Honopiano” is a tangible expression of Moeka Kobayashi’s journey as a classical pianist. This is her first classical CD. This joint release by Upfront and Tacticat is an album that will bring the new appeal of classical music to a wide range of generations.
