TOO, an art gallery restaurant where food and art come together, opens on October 1st! A new type of art gallery restaurant where you can immerse yourself in the world of art and design while enjoying open sandwiches and homemade sweets made with seasonal Shinshu vegetables. The art gallery restaurant “TOO” will open in Hotaka, Azumino City on Wednesday, October 1, 2025. “TOO” offers seasonal vegetable open sandwiches using homemade baguettes as a canvas, as well as desserts based on the popular malasadas from the adjacent SWEET & COFFEE shop, YO-LO. In addition, the restaurant hosts artist exhibitions and workshops, allowing you to enjoy the harmony of food and art in a space that feels like you’ve stepped into a gallery.

A new cultural hub nurtured by food and art. Art gallery restaurant “TOO” is operated by KOKAGE Co., Ltd., which has created new spaces through sauna facilities, cafes, and more. The interior was designed and constructed by the architectural design team STUDIO KOKAGE, and the store also serves as a model room. Photographs, paintings, and other artworks are exhibited in the store on a monthly basis, allowing you to experience a different atmosphere each time you visit. ◼︎ TOO embodies the idea of ”me too = together.” Students, people on their way home from work, and travelers alike. This is a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can gather. The restaurant also hosts a variety of workshops on an irregular basis. With a wide range of events, from local artisans to immigrants, it’s also a place where unexpected encounters and exchanges can take place.
